Flower Care
To help your blooms stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible, please follow the care instructions below based on the type of arrangement you received.
For Bouquets
-
Unwrap Gently
Remove all packaging carefully. If any leaves will sit below the waterline, strip them off to prevent bacterial growth. -
Choose a Clean Vase
Use a thoroughly cleaned vase. Dirty vases introduce bacteria that shorten flower life. -
Trim the Stems
Cut 1–2 cm off each stem at a 45-degree angle. This creates a larger surface area for water absorption. -
Add Fresh Water
Fill the vase with room-temperature water. Top up daily as water evaporates. -
Placement Matters
-
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts.
-
Avoid placing near ripening fruit (ethylene gas accelerates wilting).
-
-
Refresh Every 2–3 Days
Re-trim stems and change water completely to keep flowers hydrated and happy.
For Foam Arrangements
-
Do Not Remove from Foam
The flowers are securely placed in water-absorbing foam. Do not pull them out. -
Keep the Foam Moist
Gently pour room-temperature water onto the foam every 1–2 days. Pour slowly near the base of the flowers until the foam feels moist again. -
Do Not Let Foam Dry Out
Once floral foam dries completely, it will not reabsorb water properly, and flowers will wilt quickly. -
Placement Matters
-
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts.
-
Avoid placing near ripening fruit.
-
-
Remove Wilted Blooms
If a flower fades before others, gently remove it to keep the arrangement looking fresh.
General Tips for Both Types
| Do | Don't |
|---|---|
| Check water/foam moisture daily | Expose to direct sun or heaters |
| Keep in a cool room | Place near fruit bowls |
| Trim stems (vase only) | Submerge flowers completely in water |
A Note on Flower Lifespan
Flowers are natural products. With proper care, most arrangements last 4–7 days. Some hardier varieties may last longer, while delicate blooms may have a shorter natural life.
For Orchid Plant
Display in a light warm position, avoid direct sunlight and drafts.
Water thoroughly every 10-14 days ( slightly more in very warm conditions). Drain away any excess water. Do not ever leave routs standing in water.
